Comme toutes les grandes images de mode, Biker Girls est à la fois le témoignage d’une époque et un cliché intemporel à la manière d’une métaphore durable, se révélant ici comme un symbole de sex-appeal affirmé capable de jouer avec esprit et provocation sur les conventions typologiques et de genre. Lindbergh réunit pour l’occasion les plus célèbres top-modèles de l’époque, vêtues de vêtements de motard traditionnellement masculins, ici luxueusement réinterprétés par Versace.
