Titian

Tiziano Vecellio, ‘Titian’, was the greatest painter of the 16th-century Venice. Titian is renowned for his mastery of colour, composition and emotion in both portraiture and religious scenes. As a key figure in the Venetian school, Titian helped shape the course of Western art.
