拍品专文

This work is thought to be the view from the Ushi-Tenjin Shrine (牛天神社) atop a hill in Koishikawa in Tokyo. On a crisp winter morning, following a snowstorm, women gather at a teahouse to savor the beauty of the snowy landscape. In the distance, three birds gracefully soar overhead, and Mount Fuji stands out against the pristine backdrop, creating a breathtaking image.
Later impressions of this print omit the birds, fundamentally changing the overall atmosphere of the work.
