Limited edition. An important association copy, inscribed by the author to Graham Greene ‘for Graham with love from Evelyn’. Number 31 of 350 copies of which 300 were for sale. Davis 28.

Octavo. Printed in red and black, illustrations throughout. Original red buckram, top edge gilt, others untrimmed, spine lettered in gilt, gilt design on upper cover (two small minor marks to upper cover, without glassine wrapper); housed in a modern quarter burgundy morocco slipcase. Provenance: Graham Greene (1904-1991, inscription from the author and Graham Greene estate library label).
