Golden Palm (Lot 132) is the flamboyant deity with an illuminated palm who journeys freely in the heavenly realm while caressing the moon in the waters. Spreading his arms like the wings of a jet plane, its horizontally positioned body conjures the illusion of speed, evoking a sense of movement in an otherwise inanimate piece of sculpture.
