拍品专文

Jirapat Tatsanasomboon is one of Thailand's most promising young contemporary artists. He was recently chosen by a panel of international curators in a contest held internationally to be featured in the recently published book by Thames & Hudson the 100 Painters of Tomorrow , and is the only Thai artist included. The painting features Nonthok who is a rather unfortunate and poor character from the Thai Ramakien (Ramayana) epic. He then wraps himself in a golden ribbon to improve his attractiveness and says: Take Me, Please as a satirical and tongue-in-cheek reference to the commodification in society now.
