The present Rolex Cosmograph Daytona impresses by its new old stock condition, its immaculate case as perfect as it was when leaving the factory over 30 years ago. The breathtaking dial does not present any indication of cosmetic intervention, even the bracelet, the very rare and collectible "71" version with the endlinks stamped 71, can be described as new.

The outstanding condition however is only part of the appeal of this superb timepiece: one cannot but notice the dial, graced by the extremely rare and sought after signature "Tiffany & Co.", one of the world's most distinguished and important watch retailers in the world with the headquarters in New York.

Another noteworthy and not less important fact is the gold content of its case: whereas the vast majority of gold watches sold in North America where fitted with the 14K gold version, the present is in the higher 18K alloy, subject to increased taxes upon importation into the US.

The presence of the retailer's signature clearly leads to the assumption that it must have been a special order for one of Tiffany's distinguished clients wishing the more exclusive case version for his Cosmograph Daytona.

One of the most aesthetic, well preserved and rare references 6263 in gold to appear in public in recent years, the present timepiece can be considered the ultimate addition to any important collection of Rolex vintage watches.
