‘The reflection that starts from the works of the Kinetic period leads the artist to increasingly rarefy the shades of color and choose the severe dualism of black and white. Hence the birth of extremely essential and simple paintings, all created with minimum differentiations of position of the elements or of their perceptive mass. […] The great illumination is that of the dualism of black and white, no longer seen as opposing elements (Yin and Yang, good and evil, true and false, etc.), but as the elements that make up the binary system of plus and minus or, if we like, of one and zero, applied to computer technology’
