Rectangular, the cover set with a hexagonal gold plaque engraved with monogram 'FBL' flanked by diamond-set rosettes, the cover, sides and base champlevé enameled in pale blue with vertical gold stripes, the plaque and cover within chased stiff-leaf borders set with rose-cut diamonds at intervals on a dark blue ground, the base centering a circular en plein enamel plaque depicting a bouquet of flowers in a vase, flanked by enameled rosettes, the plaque and base within diamond-set borders on a dark blue ground, the hinged cover with diamond-set thumb-piece, the mirrored interior fitted with three gold hinged compartments, with gold linked chain, marked throughout, the chain with indistinct maker's mark
