Under the tuition of his father, he started painting at a tender age and soon established a market for his work which he began selling at the age of 12. He has been a successful full-time artist for the last 10 years. He has spent time in the Caprivi, Namibia, where the elephants still roam wild and has lived in Mpumalanga, South Africa's premier wildlife area.
