PIP McGARRY
Pip is a professional wildlife artist and curently the artist-in-resident at Marwell Zoological Park in Hampshire, the first time such a position has been held there. He has organised and run varying types of wildlife painting workshop over the last five years, lecturing and demonstrating techniques. He has also raised many thousands of pounds for various wildlife causes including the Epulu Okapi Game Reserve in Zaire, Save the Tiger and the Dambari Black Rhino Station. His paintings have been the subject of several reports by Meridian television and have also featured in national newspapers. Several of his works have been reproduced as limited edition prints by major fine art publishers with distribution in both the UK and abroad. He has travelled extensively overseas, having lived in the Far East and Central America, returning recently from a trip to Tanzania where he studied the wildlife and habitat of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro conservation areas. He is founder and Chairman of the Marwell Art Society.
