Original orange cloth, lettered on upper cover and spine in black (slight creases to preliminary free endpaper, very minor spotting to a few leaves, binding slightly skewed, spine and part of lower cover sunned, top edges of boards slightly dust-stained, light spotting to edges, foot of spine and one corner slightly bumped, extremities a trifle rubbed); original pictorial dust-jacket, priced 7/6 on the spine, supplied from another copy (silked on the reverse and expertly restored, especially the spine, edges and folds) and ‘Crime Club Book of the Month’ wrap-around (supplied, restored at spine and along folds).
