The present L.U.C. 1937 Anniversary watch is preserved in like new condition and sold with the full set of accessories. It is number 179 of the limited edition of 1937 examples.

For its 150th anniversary in 2017, Chopard chose to highlight the firm’s expertise by presenting the L.U.C 1937 model – a steel watch in the tradition of timelessly classic timepieces and equipped with the new L.U.C 1.010 self-winding movement chronometer-certified by the COSC.

1937 was the year when the founder's grandson Paul-André Chopard decided to leave the Jura region where Louis-Ulysse Chopard had set up his first workshop, to establish the brand in Geneva. It was in the latter canton that Chopard subsequently built its current success.
