Lot Essay

is titled after the river in Florence where the artist was commissioned to site-specific installation for the 1996 . For the installation, the artist created a light projection that illuminated the bank of the river with the phrases that race across the blue diodes of the present work. The same text appeared as a public art project on taxi hoods throughout the city.
