In den 40er und 50er Jahren ernährte Eva Aeppli ihre Familie mit handgenähten Stoffpuppen, erst später kam sie zu den skelettartigen, düsteren Gestalten.In the 1940’s and 1950’s, Eva Aeppli sold her handmade dolls to feed her family, and it was only later that she began to make skeleton-like darker figures.
