A WHITE JADE TWO-PART 'ENDLESS KNOT' BELT BUCKLE
19TH CENTURY
Each convex half is carved in openwork as rope tied in an endless knot, with a dragon-head hook on one half and a rectangular loop on the other, and a plain cash-shaped button on the back of each. Together with a small pale greenish-white jade two-part belt buckle, 19th century, each half is carved in high relief on top with a chilong. One half has a dragon-head hook, the other a loop.
