Comprising the juz' XV, Arabic manuscript on ivory paper, 28ff. plus 2 fly-leaves, each folio with 7ll. of elegant black naskh script, gold and polychrome roundels marking the end of each verse, sura headings in gold within cartouches in panels of gold and polychrome illumination, text panels within gold and polychrome rules, marginal medallions in gold and polychrome, the word Allah picked out in gold throughout, opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illumination and the text in lines of alternating black and gold within clouds reserved against similarly illuminated ground, some water staining and repairs in the lower outer corners of about three folios, some text smudged, in original brown morocco with flap decorated with a large panel of stamped and tooled gilded decoration, the doublures decorated with gilded découpé arabesque spandrels and central medallion over blue green and yellow panels
