Lot Essay

Sir Daniel Williams Kt., Colonel of the Tower Hamlets Militia, was the magistrate sent to take the depositons after the famous naval mutiny at the Nore, a Royal Navy anchorage in the Thames Estuary which was overwhelmed in May 1797.
