Each of baluster form with burnished gold double-scroll handles issuing from a bearded mask terminal, the beard as acanthus, a colorful garland of flowers painted around the interior of the mouth, the front and back finely painted with a still life of flowers on a shaded taupe ground, reserved within a rocaille molded cartouche enriched in gilt, a swan at the upper left corner, above open-mouthed dragon-scroll feet, fixed to a conforming canted rectangular stand raised on scroll feet
