He has created work for a variety of large-scale projects including pieces for the Oriana cruise liner and a monumental sculpture in Whitehall, London. Martin lives in a seventeenth century farmhouse near Sailsbury, only metres from a river with breeding otters. His Hare is based on field studies made in Scotland. The inspiration for its form came from the Great Egyptian Sphinx. Martin's bronzes sell to clients both in Asia and the United States and are sought after by an increasing number of notable collectors worldwide. He is resident sculptor at Winchester College, Hampshire.
