Tasting Note: "Still youthful and a bit closed, the Lafite will take years to develop. At this early stage, the wine is riper and softer than many others from this commune, but is not yet showing its full potential. Still plenty of oak on the nose, but the red and black berry fruit character with licorice notes stands out. Very good length - unforgettable wine." CC, November 2004.
