Ever since the creation of Greubel Forsey in 2004, we have made it our goal to create timepieces that are a source of lasting satisfaction and intense emotion for our collectors. We engage our full responsibility in working to guarantee the exclusivity and value of each timepiece. Hence the unchanged rhythm of our production over the last decade: in spite of constantly growing demand, we deliberately limit our output to a hundred pieces a year, for the priority given to supreme craftsmanship inevitably means rarity. Greubel Forsey thus has a very special relation to the watchmaking heritage, which the company strives to maintain. Our approach to fine watchmaking is not unlike the way the art market approaches artworks, moving carefully between unique editions and editions of one. Each of our timepieces is scrupulously inventoried by hand in our "Grand Livre", ensuring traceability. Greubel Forsey has decided to offer Christie's clients an expert appraisal service in order to guarantee full satisfaction on the timepieces they acquire at auction. Thanks to a certificate offering full servicing, collectors can take their timepiece to any authorised Greubel Forsey retailer for a complete check-up. This Grand Service certificate is valid for six months from the date of acquisition at Christie's. Greubel Forsey will cover the cost of the servicing, while transport will be at the collector's expense. Combining Christie's expertise and Greubel Forsey technical support, this innovative partnership is yet another illustration of our determination to ensure quality over the long term, and thus to maintain the heritage value of our timepieces. In creating this personalised service, we wanted to pay tribute and convey our deep respect to the connoisseurs of fine watches who place their trust in our work.
