Fresh to the market, this Calatrava is believed to be one of only three examples of reference 570 in stainless steel with this particular dial layout to appear in public to date. It is furthermore preserved in excellent, original overall condition.
The large Calatrava model reference 570 was introduced into the market in 1938, featuring either subsidiary or sweep centre seconds. It was available in stainless steel, yellow, pink and white gold and platinum.
It is interesting to note that the stainless steel version of reference 570 features different case dimensions, e.g. a diameter of around 36.2 mm. and distance of 18 mm. between the lugs whereas the measurements of the precious metal cases are 35 mm. and 20 mm.
