With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1969 and its subsequent sale on 24 October 1969.

Fresh to the market this "Ellipse" is believed to be the first example of this model retailed by the renowned Hausmann & Co. to appear in public.

Introduced into the market in 1967, reference 3546 was the very first model of the "Ellipse" series, initiating the success story of this celebrated wristwatch in production for over 40 years.
