According to the Archives of , the present watch was made in 1914 and sold in 1930 to the firms' retailer Allemann in Montreux.

Consigned by a private collector and preserved in very good original overall condition, the present dress watch is a wonderful example of one of Audemars Piguet's elegant dress watches from the 1920s. The rarity is further enhanced by its rare platinum case.
