With Extract from the Archives confirming that the present chronograph wristwatch reference 8271 was produced on 26 January 1970 and is part of the Conquest collection.

Ref. 8271 was created in 1969 as part of the Longines Conquest watch collection. Launched in 1954, Conquest was the first collection of the Longines brand to receive a designated name and was met with an immediate success. Over the years, this collection expanded into various models. Today, Conquest remains a key collection of Longines' product range.
