According to the Archives of , the present watch was manufactured in 1966.

The SuperOcean model was launched in 1957, and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2007. This particular example is distinguished by the interesting chronograph display and register - unlike most chronographs which feature a hand that displays a running seconds count, the present watch is fitted with a hand that moves each minute, with no running seconds display. The circular aperture indicates a black dot when not running and reset to zero, a large ivory dot when running, and a small ivory dot when stopped.
