A GROUP OF CHINESE EXPORT SILVER LADIES' AND GENTLEMENS' TOILET ACCESSORIES,
VARIOUS MAKER'S MARKS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY,
comprising a circular box and cover and a hand mirror repousse with dragons, each with maker's mark 'WO SING LUNG'; a silver mounted brush, apparently unmarked; a lozenge-form scent bottle and stopper, marked 'S?'; a rectangular compact with mirror, interior compartments, and hinged cover, Chinese character marks; a small compact affixed to a chain with drawer compartment (mirror missing), Chinese character marks; a chain-linked belt and a bamboo-form parisol handle, each with maker's mark 'WH' for Wang Hing & Co., Hong Kong; a reticulated cigar case repousse with dragons, maker's mark 'LW' for Luen Wo, Shanghai; a cigarette case with hinged cover, marked 'SILVER'; and two match safes, one jadeite mounted, each with Chinese character marks; together with a silver-gilt belt, possibly Turkish
