Lot Essay

EC: I've played this a lot. This is a home guitar - the gut strings get used a lot in my house because they're quiet...there's something about a gut string that makes it easier to be a solo instrument. Even with an acoustic guitar, I feel like I should be in a band or at least have some other sideman or bass, or something. But gut strings can play on their own really well, and this one got used a lot at home.
