Our partnership

Christie’s has a longstanding partnership with Studio in a School, a non-profit founded in 1977 by Agnes Gund. Studio in a School fosters the creative and intellectual development of New York City youth through quality visual arts programs, directed by arts professionals. The organisation also collaborates with and develops the ability of those who provide or support arts programming and creative development for youth both in and outside of schools.
For many years, Christie’s has hosted Young Visions, an exhibition of artworks from students across all five boroughs of NYC and select cities across the nation who benefit from Studio’s arts programs. During the pandemic, we hosted digital exhibitions for Studio on our website, helping to promote students works online. We’re proud to continually work with Studio in a School, supporting their work in New York and beyond.
Teach and Create Studio

Studio in a School shares its expertise through Teach and Create Studio, a free online arts education resource for educators, families, and students. Grounded in their teaching philosophy, this resource offers lesson plans, creative activities, and art-making inspiration for all.
More about Studio in a School Association

They fulfill their mission through Studio NYC, which serves students in pre-K through high school and Studio Institute, which shares professional learning, partnership programs, arts internships, and research grants at local and national forums.
